Vanessa Ijeoma Amaechi is the Managing Director, OGR Asset Management Limited, a reputable Asset Management institution dedicated to helping individuals and institutions to grow and preserve their wealth and achieve their financial goals. Ij, as she is fondly called, is a Sponsored Individual of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX). She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS). She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance Specialization) from the University of Lagos, Akoka. She also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Microbiology from Abia State University, Uturu. Vanessa has over 20years experience in Investment Management, Securities Trading, Fixed Income Investments, Capital Market Operations, Risk Management, Investment Advisory, Research and Investment Analysis, Strategic Leadership and Relationship Management. Prior to her appointment with OGR Asset Management Limited, she was the Managing Director, Futureview Securities Limited where through her strategic leadership, she transformed the company to a customer-centric institution, grew the company's customer base, elevated customer experience and boosted the company's earnings. For over 20 years, she played key roles in the different subsidiaries of the Group. She was also the Head of the Group’s Asset Management Department and later Fund Manager of the Group’s Asset Management subsidiary where she was responsible for managing funds for various Institutions, Government Agencies, High Networth Individuals and Retail clients. She also actively participated in Capital raising transactions for several Blue-chip companies and Government Agencies. Vanessa enjoys reading, writing, watching movies and listening to good music.
