About
As the CEO and Founder of JECO Caribbean Development Corporation, my life's work has been to inspire and implement sustainable living practices across the Caribbean. With a foundation in earth sciences, environmental engineering science and policy analysis, my organization has thrived for over three decades by providing green consulting and expanding into renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and agro-processing. Our achievements include developing strategic frameworks for the Blue Economy and conservation, as well as launching the award-winning Jessamine Eden Wellness Farm. We have enabled Caribbean communities to embrace eco-friendly lifestyles, fusing ancestral wisdom with modern science to promote wellness and environmental harmony. At Jessamine Eden Wellness Farm I am striving to build out a model sustainable conservation farm where all of my years experience in engineering, botany, ecology and chemistry converge. In my community I am now fondly known as the honey lady or the lady with the garden. My work spans the nexus of research, policy and practice - I am an award winning beekeeper and chocolate maker
