The NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars is a highly selective program open to US community college students that consisted of a four week online course and a four day on-site experience at a NASA research facility. I was chosen as one of 171 community college students across the United States that earned a trip to attend a four-day on-site workshop at NASA's Johnson Space Center from February 13th-16th, 2018. At the Johnson Space Center, I worked with my team as a Software Engineer for a mock Mars rover robotics competition. My team and I designed and implemented the software that allowed our rover to operate autonomously. I assisted my team in research, programming, debugging and testing. In addition to software engineering, I collaborated with our design and test engineers to brainstorm and troubleshoot mechanical design concepts. I also designed our team's logo and motto.

Completed general education courses with an emphasis in computer science. Earned an overall cumulative GPA of 3.89.
