- Broad curiosity in the multifaceted world of biological sciences. - PhD work in neuroendocrinology of the reproduction (Paris VI university) focused on progesterone mechanisms of action contributing to myometrium quiescence during gravidity and the changes that occur at the onset of parturition. - Post-doctoral work (at Roussel Uclaf, Paris, and at IGBMC, Strasbourg) focused on Nuclear Hormone Receptor structure/function relationships and involved transversal collaboration with structural biologists and biochemists to understand, at the molecular and structural levels, the mechanisms involved in the transduction of hormonal signal and the determinants providing hormonal selectivity. This period in the mid-90's was really overwhelming as several major labs over the world including IGBMC made substantial and fundamental discoveries in the field. - Late 90’s, I had the great opportunity to join the Oncology Department of Bristol-Myers Squibb (Lawrenceville, NJ) where I have gained knowledge in drug research, target ID and validation, and grown as a pharmaceutical-oriented scientist. - Interested and keen about biophysical and structural technologies providing significant support to the screening and characterization of small molecule interactions, I have contributed at Novalix (Strasbourg) to the development of a variety of biotechnological and biophysical techniques (native MS, ITC, DLS applied to small molecules, cell-based assays) and broadened my experience as project manager, leading research contracts with transversal contribution of various disciplines. - Effective team manager; create enthusiastic and dynamic team environment based on confidence in each one capabilities and harmony. - Knowledge and specialties: Endocrinology, Oncology, Nuclear Hormone Receptor field, Epigenetics, Biophysics, Native Mass Spectrometry, ITC, DLS, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology
