A member of the inaugural staff of this start-up project. Responsibilities included obtaining and scheduling quality television programming to serve both the urban and mainstream markets; providing program information to national listing agents, syndicators and ratings services. Acting liaison between Traffic and Master Control. Oversight of all in-house production. Creative concept development for WYCS-TV clientele (i.e., commercial spots, informational vignettes), script writing, coordination and implementation of all on-air promotions, coordination and implementation of all sales promotions, coordination and implementation of all special events (i.e., trade shows, black tie galas, anniversary celebrations, etc.), coordination and implementation of all advertising campaigns (i.e., placing media buys, producing radio copy and print ad layouts, billboard design and placement), and all other media relations.
