Before becoming an angel investor and founder of Gratitude Interactive, I built a career across law, politics, marketing, writing, teaching, and photography—each one shaping how I think about connection, storytelling, and the power of gratitude.I’m originally from Venezuela, where I earned degrees in Law and Integrated Marketing Communications and clerked at the Venezuelan Supreme Court. I later moved into politics as a researcher for Proyecto Venezuela and ran as a candidate for both the Latin American Parliament and the House of Representatives of the State of Miranda. That chapter sharpened my skills in research, communication, and public speaking, tools I’ve carried into every role since.After transitioning out of politics, I worked in marketing for early internet companies including StarMedia, Petrolatin.com, and DeRemate.com, before moving to the U.S. and pursuing an MFA in Photography.I went on to found Valentina Vitols Studio, building a photography practice with work published by The Food Network, Delta Sky Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and others. My work has taken me across the U.S., Latin America, and Asia.Today, I support and mentor early-stage entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses, with a focus on femtech, women’s healthcare, sustainability, education, and mission-driven products and services. I’m particularly drawn to companies that prove doing good and building meaningful businesses are not mutually exclusive.
