I am a qualified Company Secretary with over 18 years of experience in providing Corporate secretarial compliance support to executive teams and Boards of Directors of Overseas subsidiaries & Institutionally Funded Company's. At SimplyBiz, I head the vertical which provides Corporate Compliance services to SMBs under various Corporate Laws. As a part of the leadership team, I provide strategic direction to this vertical covering end-end functions from lead to conversion, client onboarding, execution & delivery and compliance reporting for a portfolio of 100+ clients. We manage subscription-based & non-subscription-based clients representing diverse businesses from brick and motor to the new economy including Overseas businesses having a presence in India, companies that have raised institutional capital and emerging and growth companies. I am currently managing a team of over 12 members comprising of Qualified & semi qualified Company Secretaries. Detailed activities under my role include:  Leading & driving the quality of execution & delivery, reporting’s and consistently working on improving client servicing and addressing any expectation gaps with a client-centric approach.  Building the framework of compliance controls, applicability checks and regular monitoring of these for ensuring that clients managed are Diligence ready.  Engaging with the team regularly for solutioning & resolving issues relating to the Companies Act and FEMA Regulations with specific impetus on formation of Companies in India, Governance Audits and Compliance Management  Interfacing with the client in order to simplify their compliance understanding & facilitate ease of information exchange.  Implementing systems and processes & implementation of SOPs  Advising clients on the governance best practices to be followed.  Overseeing & mentoring the team members, conducting performance evaluations & planning ongoing training opportunities.  Engaging in Business Development with focus on acquiring new clients and expanding the existing client relationships, establishing strategic partnerships and developing international affiliations.  Improving Business promotion material, Service offer documents, recognition and work experience updates, articles and website content.  Having exceptional ability to facilitate communication and ensure smooth operation of corporate activities.
