V Maurya

"V" Maurya M.D. is a certified personal trainer and board-certified physician with a passion for exercise. Dr. Maurya graduated from Georgia Tech in 2002 and entered the Medical College of Georgia that same year. He credits his academic success during his early medical school years to exercise. After graduating medical school in 2006, Dr. Maurya entered a pediatric training program. During his 3 years as a pediatric resident and another 2 years in private practice, he decided to leave medicine behind to explore his true passion for physical fitness. He has been working as a personal trainer since 2013 and continues to transform lives. Dr. Maurya is certified through the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers and the American Council of Exercise. He has experience in both group and individual fitness instruction. Dr. Maurya offers a wide variety of training modalities, from resistance bands for wheelchair bound clients to high intensity interval training.

As a general pediatrician, I conducted well-child exams, examined and treated a large number of sick visits, provided educational guidance to my patient population and their caregivers, and performed minor in-office prodcedures.

As a pediatric resident, I was exposed to pediatric inpatient and outpatient clinical settings in a large number of pediatric subspecialties throughout my 3 year program.
