Changing direction and dreams is easier said than done. I was a third-year English Linguistics student in Vietnam before I made the decision to leave everything behind, move to the U.S, and start over. It wasn't that my old path was wrong, it just wasn't mine. Taking this leap took me out of my comfort zone and gave me the chance to figure out what I actually enjoy.Now, I'm here at UTD studying Business Analytics and AI, and I've discoverd a passion for numbers and patterns. There's something exciting about looking at the dry, raw datas and facts and being able to pull out meaningful insights behind them. I'm still on my journey to identify my strengths, but I know that I'm willing to learn and work with data. Therefore, I'm actively building experience with Excel, Python, SQL, and other data visualization tools.Right now, I'm looking for internship opportunities where I can get hands-on experience, grow my skills, learn how data is used to solve business problems.Outside of the classroom, I'm also a playful person who likes strategy and creativity.
