Utku Ilgaz Sümer

I am currently working as an attorney in the International Law Department at Gülaç Law Office in İzmir, while pursuing my second Master's degree at Dokuz Eylül University, specializing in Private Law. With my expertise in Turkish law, international private law, and international commercial arbitration, along with the knowledge I have gained from the Dispute Resolution Master's program, I provide comprehensive legal consultancy to my clients. Having also completed my first Master's degree in the multidisciplinary field of Business Administration within the English Business Department, I have gained a unique perspective on the complex relationships between law and the business world. My experience as a member of the İzmir Bar Association's Commercial and Intellectual Property Law Commission has enabled me to develop an in-depth understanding of both legislation and practical applications in these areas. Research areas: International commercial arbitration, contract negotiation, International Sale of Goods Contracts (CISG), Construction Law, and FIDIC.
