* For the past three years, I have working as a Product specialist and Functional Analyst for Core banking systems (Flexcube) at ABSA bank, SouthAfrica for their Africa installations in Angola, Namibia,Tanzania and Mozambique. * The job profile includes the below mentioned activities: *  Drive the implementation and upgrade of the Core banking system at ABSA bank's Africa installations in Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola and Namibia. *  Participate in requirement gathering workshops and advice and assist the client on business process changes. *  Analysis of the requirements and design of the solution to be implemented, helping convert the functional requirements into operational workflows. *  Managing and designing interfaces to the core banking system. *  Act as the single point of contact between the clients, project managers, product managers and the vendors to understand and identify the business requirements.

I was a Consultant in the retail banking product division and working on Flexcube retail core banking system in various teams that included Software configuration management, development, testing, training, support, implementation and requirement analysis. My designation at the time I left was that of a team lead in the Global System requirement and enhancements team.

* For the past 9 months, I have been heading the Flexcube retail support team at BTCI. * The team is tasked with providing level 2 support to all Barclays countries running Flexcube retail as their core banking solution. The countries supported are India, Pakistan, UAE, Egypt, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique. * My main responsibilities include: * Incident/ problem/ Change management for the Flexcube application * Vendor relation management and resource invoicing * Solutioning business requirements within the product framework. * Take ownership of Major/High Severity incidents and ensure closure within defined SLAs. * Service improvement and performance optimization of the Flexcube application * Handle communications to Senior Level management
