About
I am a doctoral candidate within the HubMOL MSCA network, developing liver-on-a-chip models supervised by Dr. Dorota Kurek. In the past few years, I have conducted translational research focused on early cancer diagnosis and drug development for ischemia. Additionally, I have worked on cellular stress response in the lab of Prof. Mihály Kovács, and on characterizing small molecule inhibitors of myosin-II with Prof. András Málnási-Csizmadia. My vision is to advance microphysiological systems by developing organ-on-a-chip models that increase our understanding of human diseases and decrease drug attrition. Side by side, I aspire to engage community in medical research and simplifying jargon-laden publications for lay audience.
