Sponsorship & Charity Representative (University of York Lacrosse Club) April 2013–April 2014 - Sourcing and negotiating sponsorship contracts with businesses and venues. - Building strong working relationships with sponsors. Utilising negotiation skills and tailored incentives to maximise funding. - Organising charity fundraising events including dinners and tournaments for up to 100 club members. - Doubled previous year’s sponsorship funding and increased charity funding by £1000. Ordinary Member (Vanbrugh College Committee) January 2012–January 2013 - Provide general assistance to all 50 members of the committee in their various roles, including Publicity and Welfare. - Personally responsible for the support and guidance of 40 new students during induction. - Organised an event attended by over 500 students that complied with strict health and safety regulations and was held in a restrictive time frame.
