About
Hi, I'm Una! Currently, I lead the Web Experiences Developer Relations team at Google Chrome, where I support millions of developers through new native web capabilities and improvements to web APIs. My team currently covers CSS and UI, performance, identity, payments, and ad experiences with the goal of improving web UX for all users.I’m an active member of the W3C CSS Working Group and the OpenUI Community Group, helping to shape and land capabilities like container and style queries, color functions, anchor positioning, customizable components like select menus and popovers, declarative invokers, improved CSS architecture, and more. Before landing at Google, I spent years architecting scalable design systems for companies like IBM and DigitalOcean, and I served as the Director of Product Design at Bustle Digital Group. When I’m not working on browser capabilities, I love sharing what I’ve learned with the community. I currently cohost the The CSS Podcast, and previously cohosted the Toolsday Podcast, and the Designing in the Browser video series. I've spoken at over 100 conferences around the world, ranging from accessibility, to performance, to the future of Web UI.
