Role: A Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Engineer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers, negotiating price and ensuring the procurement of quality material at the best value—while aligning with the company’s long-term goals, technical requirements, and cost targets. Analyze spend data and supplier performance to develop sourcing strategies. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess trends. Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list based on quality, cost, reliability, and service. Engage in supplier scouting and qualification globally or locally. Build long-term supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness). Manage supplier audits and compliance with standards (ISO, industry-specific). Work with engineering and design teams to understand technical specifications. Analyze supplier cost structures and perform should-cost analysis. Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost reduction. Coordinate with engineering, quality, production, and logistics teams to align sourcing with operational needs. Provide sourcing input in product development (e.g., design for manufacturability, cost). Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., single-source suppliers, geopolitical factors). Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (import/export laws, sustainability standards). Drive initiatives in lean procurement, supply chain optimization, and cost-down projects. Benchmark sourcing practices and apply best-in-class procurement strategies. Strong negotiation and analytical skills Engineering background (mechanical, electrical & industrial) Familiarity with SAP Systems. Data analysis (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

NPD Role: Leads the entire NPD process from concept to commercialization. Coordinates cross-functional teams (R&D, design, production, sales).Ensures regulatory and sustainability compliance.Develops prototypes using new materials or processes.Conducts shelf-life, drop, compression, and seal tests.Works on improving barrier properties, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.Creates structural and graphic designs for packaging. Use CAD software to create packaging models.Optimizes packaging equipment and tooling for NPD.Collaborates with production to implement changes on the line.Addresses technical feasibility and scalability. Conducts inspections and quality tests on new designs.Monitors defect rates, tolerances, and standards compliance.Maintains records for trials, feedback, and approvals.
