- Driving technology strategy for Microsoft Enterprise Services with focus on new developments such as cloud computing, social networking, the future of the desktop, modern application design, business productivity and big data. - Definition and introduction of key global initiatives focused on driving technical strategy for significant technical trends: Desktop as a Service, Private Cloud including the modern datacenter, Customer Experience Management strategy, Commerce Services, social in the enterprise, in-memory computing, etc. The scope of the initiatives include people readiness, mentoring of key emerging leaders from around the globe in addition to technical strategy and partnership with the various product groups. - Leading customer engagements aligned with the key global initiatives. Examples include the re-architecture of a USD 3 trillion/day global payment services solution, re-architecture and re-engineering of a USD 18 billion global commerce site, and a 5-year strategy for a global financial services company focused on user experience as well as cloud architecture and deployment. The customer engagement always include managing and mentoring a local execution team as well as executive customer relations.

- Driving technology strategy for Microsoft Enterprise Services with focus on new developments such as SaaS, Software + Services, and People_Ready computing. - Various enterprise strategy and architecture engagements with companies in the oil & gas as well as the pharmaceutical industry with focus on interoperability and cooperation with partners such as SAP. - Lead architect for a world-wide S+S operating platform rollout in the telecommunications industry. Focus is the enablement of an end-to-end services management and operating platform enabling extremely scalable deployment and operations of software services with minimal TCO.

Microsoft lead architect consulting for the Accenture outsourcing provider as part of the NHS England National Program for IT (NPfIT). Responsible for the architecture, deployment and operation of the data center infrastructure for this 3 billion Pound Sterling outsourcing contract, at that time the largest IT project in the world.

Architect and lead for an incubation focused on developing Microsoft’s strategy for business architecture and business applications in service-oriented environments. Development of infrastructure and tools requirements, close cross-collaboration with a wide number of teams within Microsoft (Visual Studio, Windows Communications Foundation, BizTalk Server, Dynamics, among others) Architect and executive sponsor for the Information Bridge Framework (IBF) the first foray for Microsoft into the context-aware, context-driven application environments.
