Major Projects at JSW Steel Ltd. Lead role in commissioning the India largest Blast furnaces # 3 & 4 (4019cm) Experience of operating Blast furnaces with Iron ore as a major burden Experience of operating blast furnace with high slag volume (600kg/thm) Productivity improvement through optimization of burden distribution, casting practice and process parameter etc. Blowing down and blowing in expertise of Blast furnace De-siliconization of hot metal using sinter fines in runner at cast house to reduce coolant addition in converters. Experience of operating oxy coal in coal lances as cooling agent to improve furnace productivity. Chilling Revival Experience: Possess experience in chilling revival of biggest blast furnace in India (4019m3) Educational Qualification Professional Qualification: • B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering from Government College of engineering, Salem (Anna University) with an aggregate percentage of 72% Examinations Board/University School/College Year of passing Percentage X Standard Tamil nadu State Board Government Boys higher secondary school, Peravurani 2001 80.4 XII Standard Tamil nadu State Board Government higher secondary school, Kurvikkrambai 2003 82.58 Training/Awards Completed the technical course on BLAST FURNACE OPERATORS TRAINING at CORUS IJMUIDEN WORKS, THE NETHERLANDS AND PORT TALBOT WORKS, UK.
