Trim and Final Facilities are responsible for the development and introduction of new and modified facilities associated with new model introductions and model year changes. Responsibilities include: - Leading the delivery of new end of line/ off track facilities and processes to support future requirements for smart, connected, autonomous and electrified vehicles. - Leading and supporting a team of Facility Engineers to deliver world class manufacturing processes and equipment. - Development and management of projects for cost, quality, and timing. - Supporting production by providing the required capability and capacity at Jaguar Land Rover facilities and supporting equipment. - Aligned projects to programme milestones, launch plans and production requirements. - Completing feasibility and cost evaluations for proposed new or modified facilities and processes. - Define robust delivery plans with minimised disruption to current vehicle operations. - Developing and managing engineering solutions that are suited to the capabilities of appropriate facility. - Developing robust/lean layout solutions to support facility project delivery or process/operational efficiency improvements. - Managing and developing all Health, Safety and Operational Risk Management processes and site-specific processes and systems at the area. - Managing contractors in strict accordance with the JLR Control of Contractors procedures. - Contributing to the on-going Environmental Innovation and Reporting (Energy, Water, Waste) compliance with Jaguar Land Rover standards. - Managing the support and input of all relevant stakeholders to achieve acceptance, buy-off and successful handover of new or modified facilities.

Development and delivery of equipment and processes to support future plant manufacturing strategy.

Project managed installation of fluid filling equipment and loft assistors to support introduction of new all electric vehicles in a current manufacturing assembly hall. Developed cross plant charging and BEV specific off track facilities strategy.

Project manager delivery of fluid filling equipment in new green field site Supported the development of manufacturing intent facilities through prototype building phase of new vehicle launch. Including chassis platens, and various assembly fixtures. Project managed the procurement of lift assistors through engineering design, installation and validation.

Strategy and planning for fluid filling equipment and processes to support future vehicle manufacture. Role included defining budgets and sourcing of equipment prior to hand over to delivery teams. Working with Product Engineering teams to support development of parts, vehicle package and software to allow fluid fills to be carried out in plant whilst maintaining high levels of quality, FTT/RFT.

Responsibilities included developing measurement strategy with dimensional control team, project managing the procurement of and development of measuring equipment and closure setting tools, programming equipment for new vehicles, supporting new vehicle launch activities and leading a team of inspectors to carry out gap and flush measurements during prototype build activities. Role evolved in to a closed loop for body gap and flush measurements to also include creating the measurement plans in CATIA, design the body setting tools and training. Carried out continuous improvement activities throughout the role to improve the quality and accuracy of data collected.

Gap and flush measurements at end of body assembly line. Developing and programming equipment for bespoke measurement plans are required by current manufacturing engineering team and plant quality.
