About

I am a highly motivated, innovative preclinical biology leader excelling in extensive scientific deliverables and complex project management skills. More than a decade of biopharmaceutical industry experience across Oncology, Immuno-oncology, Inflammasome, Immunology and CNS areas, has empowered me with not only in-depth, world-class drug discovery but also strong cross functional and collaborative skills to work in a matrix environment. I have not only managed internal cross-functional teams to bring timely project advancement, but also simultaneously managed global CROs, thus culminating into impactful timely data packages and presentations. I have multi-tasked and led multiple cell biology projects across various target classes spanning novel first-in-class targets, early targets, mid and late stage projects, greatly enhancing company pipeline. I have successfully applied my combined scientific expertise and project/program management skills across multiple disease platforms/projects, swiftly delivering lucrative business benefits that generated over $5 million in revenue per program. In addition to working closely with scientific cross-functional colleagues, these have given me opportunities to significantly contribute and influence business development and project management teams. As a lead biologist I delivered several impactful presentations across board member and executive team forums, involving external collaborators with high stakes for the company. In addition, I provided research operation support, budget and resource planning, project strategy, timelines for large project activities and internal/external stakeholder management. My technical expertise ranges from target validation, identification/execution of screening assays, H2L identification, lead optimization, mechanism of action assays, biomarker optimization, development of PD/ translational studies, invitro-invivo data correlation, drug combination/resistance and terminal outcome studies. I am also adept at genotypic modulation studies including CRISPR, iPSCs and 3D model studies. My scientific inquisitiveness, proactiveness, quick new platform learning, creative thinking, trouble shooting, organization, attention to details and leadership skills have highly benefitted several critical projects in timely decision making. I have successfully utilized my scientific expertise towards BD teams to advance projects and establish crucial external partnerships. I look forward to applying my skills for rapidly and collaboratively advancing the goals of my next organization.
