• Responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. • Responsible for user administration (setup and maintaining account), verifying peripherals are working properly, identifying and troubleshooting hardware failures. • Monitors system performance, installs/updates current software, and installs and configures new software as applicable • Ensures data integrity and security standards are applied correctly to operational systems. Works closely with ISSO and ISSE to develop, test, and deploy strategies that support security policy and standards. • Performs system hardening and applicable security updates and patches. • Performs security assessment scans for all servers. • Supports and monitors Postgres and Mongo databases. • Supports both physical and virtual servers.
