As Night Audit Supervisor / Hotel Manager on Duty I oversaw operations of the hotel including but not limited to front desk operations, housekeeping, engineering, butler services, as well as other operational departments on and off property. As Night auditor I was responsible for all aspects of night audit functions ensuring proper room and tax was posted as well as compiling Hotel statistics. Manage room inventory on a nightly basis, room availability and requests. Perform check-in and checkout's as needed. Resolve Guest challenges and special requests within limits of my authority. Shift brief oncoming staff and relay applicable information to relief manager. Ensured all guest and team member interactions are in accordance with standards. Accurately complete shift checklist. Review and make recommendations for scheduling. Ensure thorough completion of special projects/assignments provided by management and conduct shift as an extension of upper management. While always promoting team work across all hotel departments on and off property. As an additional top priority I ensured cleanliness of hotel lobby and all other areas. Making sure to remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity, and resolve complications quickly and in a that was satisfactory to our guest.
