Responsible for conducting moderate to complex procurement for all divisions and departments in accordance with prime contract, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Contract Audit Agency, and company policy requirements. Performs work within the centralized purchasing function, including data entry and other processing functions to the purchasing system. Establish and maintain vendor accounts with regional and national suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors for service agreements and purchase orders. Analyze statements of work to process requests. Conduct bidding sessions for and evaluate RFPs to support minor renovations, construction, architectural and engineering and facilities services to support National Security projects. Monitor vendor subcontract agreements and process purchase orders through reviews of RFQs and bid analyses. Coordinate and assist project management staff in initiating customer requests. Established sources for materials and negotiated price, delivery date, and other necessary commitments based upon requisitions. Verified that requisitions maintained consistency with program and/or requestor and complied with company and FAR regulations. Provided guidance and communication to the project manager regarding procurement actions. Supported new bid and re-compete proposals for government contracts. Analyzed and submitted pricing to support proposals requested by the US Department of State, US Department of Defense and USAID. Maintained systems to ensure administration and follow through of purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Managed and met material requirements for international purchasing and shipping for commodities to support international armies and civilian police groups.
