Worked on production crews for two feature length, made for TV films. Gained a sense of how to work with different teams and most importantly, how to work with various directors. Assisted the art department with set decoration and props resetting/management, both on set and behind the scenes. Learned to utilize my time effectively by balancing time spent helping on set and time spent working to prep for later scenes/sets. Assisted grip and electrical departments in setup and tear down of all manner of equipment from dolly tracks to 40k ARRI lights. Operated slate and took on all responsibilities of a second AC including lens and filter cleaning and management.

Filming and photographing wedding ceremonies and receptions. Working as a photographer for all-night events including remembrance gatherings, successfully shooting in low light conditions in crowded areas. Learned to work on my feet with little to no preparation or scouting and with minimal equipment. Effectively capture the feelings and emotions of events while maintaining a sense of cinéma vérité.

Set up for all interviews including camera placement, lighting, and microphone dressing. Direct talent to provoke creative, meaningful answers while ensuring subjects are comfortable in front of the camera. Utilize cinematography techniques, including lighting, color, rule of thirds, and framing to create unique b-roll footage that meshes well with interviews. Import and organize raw footage, edit segments, and upload finished products in a timely fashion with a quick turn around and attention to detail.

Graduated with honors in Communication with a specialization in video production. Worked at Southern's on-campus TV station for three years as both a tech assistant and tech director. Organized two film festivals and a game show.
