StudioVisit enables everyone—from the general public to art world professionals—to book studio visits with the most inspiring modern and contemporary artists working today. Whether you’re an art enthusiast seeking inspiration behind-the-scenes or an art collector looking to acquire new work, you can participate in the unique experience of meeting your favorite artist, discovering insights about their practice, and seeing art in the context of its production—as opposed to the familiar white cube exhibition space. In addition to the traditional studio visit, we are interested in the expanded notion of the artist’s studio. Some might take on unique forms, such as a walk, canoe ride or conversation over lunch with the artist. The artists get paid to host studio visits while at the same time expanding their network of supporters. Every studio visit you take plays a vital role in helping to support their ongoing practice. In addition, a portion of the proceeds of your visit will go to support art education programs.

* Research and prepare comprehensive syllabus and lecture slideshow presentations * Organise and lead off-site visits for students with major collectors, directors at public and private institutions, galleries * Research and direct group workshops and related activities for students * Present seminars spanning 21st century art history, key strategies employed by galleries and institutions in spotting new talent and building up their collections * Advice on how students can gain access to the latest artists and trends

* Helped craft and disseminate project-specific press releases, achieving write-ups in major media publications * Administration of Membership lists and payments * Assistance with online room booking system as well as for external meetings * Excellent skills at minute taking for managing staff and board of directors * Crafted pitch letters, successfully generating new project partners * Assisted with on-site artwork installation and guided exhibition tours for group exhibition PLOT/09: This World & Nearer Ones * Assisted proofing text and rendering images for publication PLOT/09: This World & Nearer Ones
