Manage newly created group covering Carpenter’s Reading and Orwigsburg, PA and Elyria, OH sites with a focus on improving cost of poor quality, reducing/ disposition non-standard product, and assisting in further implementation of Operating Model demonstrating LEAN methodologies in organization.

Technical responsibility for company's largest customer by volume as well as austenitic stainless steels used in the industrial fastener markets, semiconductor industry, and nitrogen strengthened austenitic stainless steels. These responsibilities include specification and purchase order review, line-up generation and maintenance, yield and cost savings improvements, control plan generation and maintenance, as well as overall manufacturing support of the process for these alloys.

Technical responsibility for precipitation hardenable and martensitic alloys used in aerospace, automotive, medical, oil patch, and industrial applications. Also handle technical responsibility for alloys used in firearms applications. Specific responsibilities include: - Specification and purchase order reviews on customer inquiries - Lead New product development projects - Line-up development and maintenance of in-process and new orders - Cost and yield savings initiatives - Technical liaison between headquarters and Shalmet Corporation- a Carpenter subsidiary - Technical support and Liaison for start-up of new Production facilities
