•Forecast capitalized maintenance expenditures based on equipment’s component-benchmarks and equipment utilization. •Analyze equipment’s component history, new technologies, and improved maintenance practices to determine possible increases to equipment life. •Conduct Residual Value in Component (RVIC) for equipment. The assessment is then used to help determine replacement, repair, sale value, etc. •Handle large dollar warranty and additional charge requests with equipment and parts vendors. •Review internal and external failure analysis reports. Conduct OEM and site visits to view failed components and as part of a components root cause analysis.

• Developed designs, created fabrication drawings, and managed installations for smaller projects including mobile equipment modifications • Conducted 5WHY and root cause failure studies. Produce reports, service bulletins, and action logs based on findings. • Implemented a long term planning schedule for Elkview’s pressure vessels • Managed Elkview’s 1.8m Fall Protection Plan

• Created several detailed documents including Elko’s Quality Control Manual and the Elko Sawmill Guide • Using Microsoft Excel created “Key Performance Indicators” and “Daily Downtime” tracking systems that are reviewed daily at the sawmill • Conducted several observational studies on production equipment and produced an optimization report for Elko’s primary saw line • Preformed daily quality control checks to insure equipment is operating effectively

• Generated SolidWorks drawings of tools and lifting devices for certification • Designed and managed several projects including Cardinal’s wash bay upgrades, in pit shop bulk lube system, and in pit service bay diesel filtration • Prepared presentations, reports, and appropriation requisitions
