Responsible for assisting the laboratory professor in aiding the students and grading the finished lab reports, as well as grading homework for introductory level physics classes.

 Worked on research project for the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) with research advisor and another graduate research assistant.  Project goal was the development of criteria for Mn/DOT to use when selecting health monitoring systems for bridges.  Contacted many companies with a questionnaire about bridge health monitoring offerings and used information and feedback from Mn/DOT to help develop program to give user list of best possible health monitoring systems available. Health monitoring systems includes sensors, data collection equipment, and user interface software with the goal of detecting possible structural failure.

 Use GIS (Geographic Information System) to update city-wide utilities map for the City of Eagan using construction plans, GPS coordinates, notes from engineers/maintenance employees, and as-built plans.  Analyze construction plans and legal documents to determine which utilities the City is responsible for maintaining.  Improve GIS function by manipulating current data into a more useful form for the user.
