I currently serve as the Director of Corporate Communication, IT, and ERP at Özata Shipyard.Over the course of 13+ years within the company, my scope of responsibility has gradually expanded — and together, we’ve grown into a team of around 10 dedicated professionals.We lead digital transformation efforts across our shipyard’s newbuilding and repair operations, ensuring sustainable and effective technological development.Our team focuses on ERP development, IT infrastructure modernization, and software project coordination, always prioritizing communication, efficiency, and collaboration.On the corporate communication side, we manage the end-to-end organization of domestic and international trade fairs, from concept to execution. We produce promotional films, catalogs, brochures, and manage visual media production including photography and video content. We also run the shipyard’s social media accounts and digital presence, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging across platforms.Through both military and civilian projects, our shared goal is to continuously strengthen the shipyard’s technological and communicational capacity — and build a resilient, future-ready organization, together.tozkan@ozashipyard.com

In this role, I actively contribute to digital transformation, strategic communication, and operations related to shipbuilding and defense industry projects. Key responsibilities: • Planning and executing annual media strategies and brand promotion activities for maritime and defense sectors • Managing internal and external communication processes across the organization • Overseeing digital content creation, press relations, and coordination with external agencies • Organizing national and international fairs, exhibitions, and high-level protocol events • Leading the production of project catalogs and promotional films from raw footage to delivery • Creating and managing digital content strategies for the company website and social media platforms • Leading ERP implementation and IT infrastructure modernization projects • Aligning communication strategies with technical milestones in Turkish Navy-related projects • Planning and managing international corporate travel and delegation arrangements • Supporting decision-making processes through the integration of IT tools • Monitoring public tender processes and contributing to proposal preparation activities • Acting as Facility Security Coordinator to ensure compliance with defense project security standards • Manage secure, closed-loop IT and ERP infrastructures tailored for defense shipbuilding projects, ensuring compliance with military standards, system traceability, data integrity, and cybersecurity protocols.
