Overseas internship programme. Research focuses on the synthesis of Microwave Filters. Research Topic : Synthesis of Six-Pole Filter with Two Pair of Transmission Zeroes with Lossy Resonator MATLAB and MATHEMATICA software were used to generate the element values of the lowpass filter for a sixpole microstrip filter with 2 pairs of transmission zeroes. The microstrip filter was designed and simulated on IE3D software and obtained a satisfactory frequency response.

Temperature Test Tower Calibration Procedure – Labview software was used to perform calibration to the Agilent 34970A data acquisition unit to ensure temperature test tower is in optimal condition for usage. Troubleshoot & repair Temperature Test Tower – Output with error of the test tower is rectified by replacing new sensor cable to the Agilent multiplexer unit which is within 34970A data acquisition unit. Replication of new MT2168 Module Test Tower – Software installation on Nexcom Industrial PC and set up of 48V power supply for MT2168 Module load tray dual shuttle calibration. Sensor output voltage stabilisation with Zener diode. – Analogue Electronics fundamentals were applied by selecting Zener diode as the component for the voltage stabilisation of the MT9510 Test Handler. The existing resistor of the MT9510 Test Handler was replaced with Zener diode to have a fixed output voltage magnetic sensor. ent.
