About
I am passionate about driving transformation—both professionally and personally—by advocating for employee wellness, fostering leadership development, and creating environments where individuals and organizations can thrive. As a district leader and wellness ambassador, I champion holistic well-being in the workplace, recognizing that success is deeply connected to both physical and mental health. My commitment to wellness stems from personal experiences. After losing both of my parents to preventable diseases (2013 & 2016) and facing my own battle with Lyme disease, I made it my mission to be a better steward of my health and to help others do the same. This journey led me to earn a Health Coaching Certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute (2016) and to establish Empowher-2-F.I.T., LLC, where I empower working mothers and wives to take charge of their well-being through accountability and intentional action. Professionally, I have a proven track record of developing data-driven training programs, coaching school counselors, and leading strategic initiatives that drive student success. My leadership contributed to a 5% increase in Annual Student Outcome Goals within Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, and I have spearheaded professional development training for principals while strengthening student support services through comprehensive programming and community partnerships. As an author and speaker, I use my expertise to help others reclaim their lives and well-being. My book, I Dare You to Live: Reclaim Your Life from the Grips of Strongholds (2021), along with its companion journal and affirmation cards, serves as a blueprint for personal transformation. I also organize wellness-focused meet-ups, fostering thought-provoking discussions around the 8 Dimensions of Wellness to help individuals create balance and sustainable success.
