Worked as a Research Assistant II at The University of Hong Kong, focusing on significant research projects in hematology.  Assisted in the development and execution of experimental protocols related to blood disorders.  Conducted data collection and analysis, contributing to academic publications.  Maintained laboratory equipment and ensured compliance with safety regulation

In the role of Technical Specialist at The University of Hong Kong, provided essential support in technical operations within the research setting in genomics research  Managed laboratory workflows and assisted researchers in various experiments.  Trained new staff on laboratory procedures and best practices.  Ensured the accuracy of laboratory results through meticulous quality control measures.

I have worked in School of Public Health of The University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant under Dr. Ranawaka APM Perera for 1 Year. My main duty was screening the blood sample from Africa with MERS and the blood sample from Hong Kong with Influenza. Also, I maintained MDCK cell line for research uses.

Master of Philosophy | Division of Hematology, School of Medicine | HKU  Completed MPhil degree in cancer research focusing on mouse handling, CRISPR, and FACS techniques.  Researched the synergistic effects of venetoclax and homoharringtonine in AML therapy under Dr. Man Cheuk Him's supervision.  Utilized multi-omics analysis to study the mechanism, revealing HHT's role in enhancing venetoclax efficacy in refractory AML.  Contributed to published projects beyond personal research, showcasing collaborative involvement and academic achievement  Publication: https://ashpublications.org/blood/article/142/23/2002/498037/Inhibition-of-PLK4-remodels-histone-methylation ; https://www.nature.com/articles/s41375-022-01606-0

This Master degree provided wide range of course for understanding different molecular knowledge, for example, Molecular Genetics, Genome Stability, Genetic Diseases and Cancer. During the studying, I acquired a lot of molecular technique such as cloning and protein purification. I also had a project about the toxin-antitoxin system in Neisseria species which was supervised by Dr. Stephen Hare.

This degree covered different perspective, for example, natural product and some molecular technique. During the year in Ulster University, I handled a project about antioxidant in Manuka Honey which was supervised by Dr. Richard Owusu-Apenten.
