PMC Project Manager. Responsible in managing an EPCC contractor appointed by client. Manage multi office (Malaysia, China and Singapore) execution on Engineering and procurement. Lead PMC and EPCC on all the project Management Aspect of the project – Engineering, Procurement expediting, subcontracting management (for client direct engagement), construction management (including the construction permitting requirement and authority engineering) • Prime contact representing PMC and Client (Employer Representative) in managing the engineering, procurement and construction of EPCC contractor and assist the commissioning team in planning the construction sequence that supports the commissioning of the plant • Responsible for all the field construction efforts and manage EPC’s subcontracting, change orders as well as participate in all major technical, cost, scheduling and performance discussion and decision making • Manage the Change Management raised by the contractor and ensure that the cost of the EPCC are managed within the approved budget • Interface between the Client and EPC contractor. Advise all the stakeholders on the technical, contractual, budget and schedule related activities. • Engage in interactive planning to schedule the overall construction in the logical steps, timely and within the budget. • Manage EPCC contractor in term of the risk management. • Advise and monitor EPCC on the project permitting plans pre and during construction as well as the permitting required for the authority approvals (Design approvals, PTI, PTO and CCC) • Lead the engineering team with Engineering Manager to ensure that the EPCC produced a MR (Material Requisition) that meet the client requirement and meets the international standard. Ensure that the model reviews are done accurately to ensure the interfaces (Existing plant and package Equipment) are done accurately.

• Hold full responsibility for the site construction activities with the site management team. • Organize and attend meetings between client and service providers as required. • Spearhead the site HSE effort and involve in the site HSE program implementation. • Engage in interactive planning to schedule the overall construction in the logical steps, timely and within the budget. • Lead the teamwork effort in term of assuring and delivering good quality at the jobsite. • Negotiate and manage changes and additions to the contractual agreement and prepare the scope of work for the construction packages. • Initiate the constructability studies for the KRP project. • Determine the resource requirement for the activities of the construction. • Direct, inspect and review projects deliverables to monitor compliance with safety codes and other regulations. • Conceptualize and develop the construction scope of work for subcontract packages. • Involve actively in the coordinated design efforts, evaluation of the method statement and the critical lift and activities at site. • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. • Ensure measures are in place to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site. • Prepare a structured Construction Execution Plan (CEP) for the project. • Evaluate the Bidders proposals technically.

- Oversee all on-site project activity to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with engineering design. - Reviewed engineering designs, drawings, and other related engineering documents to identify potential problems ahead of time and proactively implement solutions. - Prepared site inspection/oversight reports documenting the progress to date. Scheduled inspections. Estimated and created budgets for project. - Perform inspection of construction activities to ensure conformance with approved designs/plans. - Coordinate proposed changes in design with consultants and construction manager while maintaining schedule and budget. - Ensure that construction plans are in agreement with customer expectations and identify points at which contractual obligations will have been met. - Interfaced and communicated with client regarding project status and coordinated as required to resolve issues with site construction, procurement, and/or engineering. - Took corrective action as needed during projects and/or consulted with construction project manager to resolve issues arising during projects.

Liaise with client with all the technical queries and clarification on the design drawings. Develop QC inspection plan and execute the plan with a team of QC both at Fabrication and erection.

- Steel Structural erection - Erection and installation of the equipments for the cracker furnace - Involve in the QA/QC matters - welding inspection and alignment of the steel structure and equipments

During my training at TJSB, i was mainly attached to the technical support group and operation department. As the nature of the business of TJSB is to perform O&M for LPP (Combine cycle Lumut Power Plant), i was exposed to the operation process of the power plant at the beginning of training period. After that, i was attached to technical support group. In the department, I was assisting a senior engineer for the RBI (Risk Based Inspection) project. Besides that, I was involved in the CBM (Condition based monitoring) processes. During my internship period, I gained a lot of experience on the RBI, Vibration analysis and operation process of a combine cycle power plant

Specialization : Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive Industry : Construction / Building / Engineering; Monthly Salary : RM 2600 Work Description: I'm a piping Engineer in the pressure part department whereby my job nature is to plan and monitor the daily progress to achieve the target of completion day. I was attached in boiler section whereby my duty is to monitor and plan the fabrication and erection of piping and boiler part. I was also attached in instrumentation on the punch list items (rectification works) and I was in - charge for the insulation of the boiler in Manjung power plant. I have join the organization as a junior engineer in piping section yet I managed to learn and perform my duties with full dedication up to the level I was promoted as the piping engineer. Towards the commissioning process I was in charge for the erection of the sea water treatment piping (FGD). During my period of stay in the organization, I have performed to my best level possible. I have built a good relationship between my superiors, colleagues, main contractor (ALSTOM Power) and the client (TNBJ)
