Started as a urgent care assistant providing patient transport for both non-emergent and urgent care shifts, contracted by the NHS and for private contractors. Also, covering a number of different events when and if required. As I progressed through my paramedic studies I became an EMT for BA at events, providing a higher level of care for patients.

Work as part of the 'DotCom' team to select the best products in store for customers who have placed orders online, for a speedy reliable delivery.

Six week paid internship, during A level summer holidays, as a legal administrator for Lyons Davidson Solicitors. I worked in three different departments: clinical negligence, industrial disease and advocacy. My job involved: producing legal documents (such as LOCs and NRPs) for clients, over the phone booking external council, ordering expert reports and going in and out of several different trials.

Whilst studying A levels I had a week of work experience with Future Publishing medical company in Bath. My jobs involved: designing a website for a photography company, a centre spread for MU magazine as well as helping set up photography shoots and meet the models.

Paid work for the Students Union providing pitch-side first aid advanced pre-hospital care for university home sports matches. Allowing me to put much of my more emergent patient transport skills into use.

Voluntary work for either private contractors or sub-contracted by the NHS to transport non-emergent and urgent patients to and from hospitals or to appointments. Some with very sever illnesses/conditions. Developing a wide range of medical knowledge and awareness of medication and conditions.

As with GCSE I was unfocused and unsure on my future. However I grew a passion for law and succeeded in this subject. I also joined St John Ambulance England, which is where my love for medicine and pre-hospital care developed from. Giving me a 'whatever it takes' mentality for university. Activities and Societies: Careers academy, first joined St John Ambulance England.

Whilst studying my GCSEs I was less focused than I am studying at university. I didn't have a clear idea of the profession I wanted to take up and so GCSEs didn't really matter to me at the time. This is not the case any longer and as most say I wish I studied harder. I now use Paramedic Science as my motivation for achievement. However I did run for school senator, although not getting the position.
