Overall responsibility for development and engineering of 58 different product lines consisting of benches, receptacles, site lighting, and bike racks.

Oversee all phases of Product Engineering including Drafting, Engineering, Data Management, Product Testing, Cost Estimating, Packaging Engineering and Sample Shop. Responsibility for a department of 45 individuals with 7 direct reports. Report directly to Executive Vice President of Product Leadership. Oversee development and implementation of 650 prototypes and 250 new product implementations annually. Helped to source and select consulting group to implement a “phase-gate” process for new product development. Worked with the consultants defining our current process and creating the flow for the new process. Was a gatekeeper in the phase-gate meetings. Work with China team on a daily basis in improving our global development process. Responsible for overall development, quoting, engineering, samples, and implementation of all China and domestic product.
