I serve as an OLAP database developer for networked gambling systems including the Ontario, Israel, Iowa, and Mexico Lotteries and Native American tribal gaming systems. I develop OLAP database systems, ETL processes, and data warehousing and data mining applications from initial proposal to system release. I work extensively with customers to define requirements. I work with service developers to develop database architectures that lie behind their applications. I implement financial, inventory and sales data repositories and warehouses based on transactional or merge replication and custom ETL procedures developed in T-SQL. I develop data exports in multiple formats for use in Electronic Funds Transfer, invoicing, reporting and analysis. I create solutions in SSAS to allow customers to browse data and create ad hoc queries. I interface with customers throughout the testing, certification and deployment phases of the project. I maintain, support and extend systems after release.
