Focusing on the interest of the public and our tax dollars, that they are not being abused in the Lifeline and Contributor programs, by auditing telecommunications companies who receive funding from these programs and performing other related audits. I've also served as the Contracting Officer Representative for the annual Improper Payments Elimination and Recovery Act (IPERA) audit since 2010, which was signed by President Obama in 2010. This bill aims to help reduce wasteful improper payments. When addition support is needed in the field, I team up with our Investigations department to assist on equipment searches and raids in support of the Schools and Libraries Program, and help write the Investigative Activity Reports to document the searches.
