Executive Director + Co-Founder @ WAKE

About

For over 20 years, I have been passionate about connecting activists around the world, linking resources, brainpower and technology to create sustainable, socially just and productive communities. As the co-founder and CEO of WAKE: Women's Alliance for Knowledge Exchange, I lead a global network of women leaders who are driving change in their fields and regions, from human rights to environmental justice. I bring 25+ years of experience and expertise in international education, social entrepreneurship, leadership development, women's empowerment and technology. I have worked with innovative organizations and individuals in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, designing and implementing high-impact, innovative programs that leverage the power of tech and mentoring. I have also built strong partnerships with multinational organizations, the US State Department, and leading tech companies in Silicon Valley and beyond. I excel at conceptualizing programs, fundraising, inspiring teams, and establishing alliances with diverse partners working to advance social justice.
