I'm Jonathan, Co-Founder at And Rising—a creative studio and investor in new consumer brands. We've had a great run so far. I've a lot to thank creativity for. Our work has scaled brands to over £1.7bn in market cap, and our creative capital fund has had two notable 9-figure exits already. And Rising was made possible by spending 15 years at the world's most creative advertising agencies at scale, before co-founding 18 Feet & Rising, a creatively-led independent that was successfully acquired by Creston PLC, now Accenture Song. Along the way, I earned most of the industry stripes: Campaign's 50th-anniversary industry titan, Sunday Times Debrett's 500 most influential in Britain, Fellow of The Marketing Society, plus lots of big-at-the-time awards D&AD, IPA Effectiveness and so on. Inevitably, I’ve spot written for mainstream publications like CityAM, The Guardian, spoken at Oxford’s Said Business School, and some of the usual circuit stuff like Social Minds or Sifted Summit. But for the past five years, my regular slot is at the Marshall Institute, London School of Economics, having been a B Corporation pioneer in the UK, observing many of the movement's twists and turns since. My experience with advertising, brands and agencies runs a little deeper than most. But I was born an entrepreneur.
