Leading the technical project team for electrical & weapon equipment for construction of advanced warships being built for the Indian Navy/ Coast Guard at a cost of over Rs 22,000 Cr. Responsible for end-to-end project management of all electrical & weapon equipment onboard the ships. Achieved cost savings of over Rs 300 Cr for the company view effective project management. Equipment includes power generation & distribution equipment, auxiliaries, utilities, navigation & communication, weapons, sensors and combat management system amounting to over Rs 10,000 Cr.

Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing of all technical projects for setting-up of MRO infrastructure and rendering technical services on the Western Coast of India. Led the project management efforts to deliver a strategic national asset, the largest dry-dock in India, at a cost of Rs 1,800 Cr, enabling aircraft carrier docking. Executed strategic technical projects for building infrastructure and specialized technical equipment viz. power generation & converters, battery charging facilities, cable storage facilities, automated storage & retrieval facilities, HP air facilities, heavy machine shops, pontoons, jetty cranes and material handling equipment etc. amounting to Rs 2,500 Cr.

Successfully led a team of 150+ personnel including 08 officers and management of their HR aspects. Revamped operations with several innovative technical projects heralded as trendsetters. Ensured zero down time of all vintage as well as contemporary electrical and associated mechanical equipment (DG Sets, Transformers, Electrical Network, HVAC, STP and Utilities) through preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs, resulting in maximum operational availability and efficacy in naval exercises and cross-course deployments. Awarded with the Best Electrical Ship Trophy of the Indian Navy Western Fleet.

Successfully led a team of 800+ personnel including 20 officers and management of their HR aspects. Ensured material worthiness of all ships and submarines on the Eastern Coast of India through MRO activities for all electrical, control & weapon equipment. Planned and executed major technical projects, refits & maintenance of conventional & nuclear submarines while de-risking potential complex situations.

Responsible for global selection and trials of strategic equipment through extensive consultation with the industry and end-to-end project management for high value strategic projects for electrical systems including high-capacity submarine batteries, battery monitoring systems, control systems, weapon & sensors. Managed technical projects worth more than Rs 2000 Cr through intricate knowledge of Indian and foreign governments policies for defence projects & procurements. Led a number of national and international delegations for contract negotiations and acceptance/ trials of technical equipment involving cross-cultural teams. Prior to this, I also served as Chief Electrical Officer & Deputy Electrical Officer onboard other naval platforms.
