Certified Interactive Metronome Provider "Interactive Metronome® (IM) is an evidence-based assessment and training tool that measures & improves Neurotiming, or the synchronization of neural impulses within key brain networks for cognitive, communicative, sensory & motor performance. As the individual activates a trigger in time with a steady auditory beat, IM technology provides real-time auditory and visual feedback for millisecond timing. Knowing whether he is hitting before, after, or exactly in sync with the beat to the millisecond allows the individual to make immediate, online corrections to improve timing & rhythm over the course of training."

Created, migrated content from previous to existing district website, and maintains the new St. Landry Parish School Board Website. Managed the Migration of all data for the 36 underlying school sites from the previous to current school website. Serves as troubleshooter for all school web admins in managing school websites. I also designed the district website logo, print media for website, and digital media for events.

I conducted educational technology training presentations on the use of technology software throughout the state of Louisiana and in Mississippi.

As an Educational Technology Consultant, I taught online courses for Dymo/mimio through Central Michigan University (http://global.cmich.edu/mimio/teacher-biographies.aspx). I have also contributed to the development of course content for Skills for the Classroom courses, which were provided through Dymo/mimio. In addition, I have presented Dymo/mimio software and hardware solutions at National, State, and Local Educational Technology conferences.

I served as a content specialist, where I was responsible for reviewing and revising the current content that was to be contained in the new MimioConnect website. I also teach and help design the Mimio Masters Online Level One Course. I am also a Mimio Certified Trainer.

My current responsibilities as a teacher includes teaching math, science, and social studies at the third grade level to address skills identified in the Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum. In doing so, I introduced technology that helped enhance instruction in elementary grades pre-k through fourth at Grand Prairie Elementary through the use of new web-based software, designed to address skills covered in the Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum. I also spearheaded the purchase of interactive whiteboard technology to motivate students and enhance instruction, and student response systems that are used to obtain formative feedback to guide instruction.
