36 years as an RN. Most of my hospital experience has been in the Obstetrics Dept. I was a Maternal-Child Home Health Coordinator for several years and actively participated in the start of The Indiana Perinatal Association to try & improve Indiana's Infant Mortality Rate and worked with that group for a few years. This included public speaking and committee work & leadership. I have taught prenatal & sibling classes. I have been an NRP Instructor for several years. I have also had a strong drive for providing education to patients and nursing staff. I also was involved in the creation of EHR forms for a Maternity Department. I am also an AHA BLS & Heartsaver Instructor.
