Zumiez is a mall based specialty teen retailer with 400 stores operating in 37 states and a successful ecommerce business. Zumiez is unique in the mall setting due to our branded product focus and sales culture. Fiscal 2010 sales were $478 million and operating margin of 9%.

Carter’s is the largest branded marketer of apparel exclusively for babies and young children in the United States. As a result of the acquisition of OshKosh B’ Gosh in July 2005 annualized sales were approximately $1.4 billion in 2007 with adjusted operating margins of approximately 9%. Carter’s sells products in all major retail national department stores, chain and specialty stores, discount retailers, and through 219 Carter’s and 157 OshKosh branded outlet and strip center retail stores.

While I worked at Blockbuster, they were the world leader of rentable entertainment products with 6,000 retail locations throughout the 28 countries generating annual sales of $5.0 billion.
