* Designed and issued engineering work orders for the installation of fiber optic equipment to cutover voice and data services (copper and fiber) impacted by the Central Artery Project (Big Dig) in Boston, MA. * Implemented numerous First Office Applications and helped finalize procedures for design, installation and provisioning. These FOAs include the first Nortel Optera Metro 5200 DWDM Ring in all of Bell Atlantic and the first Alcatel (Formerly DCS) Litespan 2012, Nortel Optera Metro 3500, and Cisco 15454 SONET ring for the New England (former Nynex) Region. * Designed computer based forms to replace ones that were being done by hand including engineering work print design * Created and distributed various templates for engineering work print design in Microsoft PowerPoint to help facilitate the transition from hand drawn work prints to computer designed ones. * Presented to upper management on the Central Artery, new technologies, and First Office Applications

* Designed, Ordered, Tracked and Expedited fiber optic equipment, racking, power, and battery backup for customer premise voice and data installations including DS0, DS1, DS3, Ethernet (10/100, Gige, and 10G,) SONET, and DWDM. * Created detailed specifications for the installation of main telephone rooms in newly constructed buildings including all racking, equipment, cabling and power. * Managed Product Changes Notices for all fiber optic equipment in the New England region and designed and implemented upgrade procedures when required. * Supported entire New England Outside Plant organization for all equipment ordering issues * Implemented numerous First Office Applications and helped finalize procedures for design, installation and provisioning. These FOAs include the first Ethernet Packet Relay Service (EPRS) over the Cisco 15454, the first Cisco 15454 DWDM ring and the initial AT&T Fiber to the Cell Site (FTTCS) deployment in all of Verizon.

* Design, Order, Track and Expedite fiber optic equipment, racking, power, and battery backup for customer premise voice and data installations including DS0, DS1, DS3, SONET, and DWDM. * Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Vendors, Construction Crews, Building Management and the Customer through all phases of installation to remove roadblocks and ensure on time completion. * Maintain PC inventory and manage all PC upgrades and redeployments for three engineering offices. * Support National Engineering Staff on various technical issues and process improvements.
