Scientist III @ Beacon Therapeutics

About

I have a strong background in mammalian cell culture, signaling, patch clamp and molecular biology as evidenced by 8 publications and 15 conference poster presentation. Two of the conference posters got awarded. My research acquired $40,000+ lab grant funding.I completed Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences. The main focus of my project was Mechanisms controlling stem cell differentiation. I also possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, my project thesis focused on the development of single-PCR and multiplex-PCR for the simultaneous detection of Arcobacter spp. in chicken carcasses and feces.I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher for almost three years about Parkinson's disease. This helped me to gain hands-on experience in primary/neuronal, organotypic cultures, rodent surgery, molecular cloning, immunostaining and confocal microscope. Successfully established protocol for young/adult rodent organotypic culture.
