Product Development: Review the sketch and DS intent with NY partners to understand and aligned the handfeel and product construction. Srub DS card and sketch with SP to understand and brainstorm with Engineering to build the bag. Communication and clarification with DS team for any callouts to understand design or any challenges sample building. Supporting Sp to build sample by pull correct patterns, ref sample and give correct directions to meet DS intent. Follow up with SP for mockup and sample status to catch shipping date on the short timeline. Reviewing Line opening samples prior shipping to NY partners to ensure good quality, craftsmen-ship to meet partners meetings. Sharing and give advices SP to improve sample prior mass production that meet the requirements from Designers. Management the product sample to ensure give the correct design intent. Besides, always sample be approved prior the production start date. Collaboration with Production manager to ensure mass production sample go well, sharing the challenges to avoid the mistaken happen to meet DA intent. Outsourcing: Working closely and follow up from early development to production to ensure the techniques and application correct DS. Costing: Foresee the cost of during sample development, give the proposal for costing saving during development stage to ensure sample hit margin. Checking the BOM accuracy for materials, colors match to Visiual matrix. Checking the $FOB, related costing factors that accurate. Proposal the cost options if the cost of style over margin. Checking sample/ pattern/ markers if any minimization but keep DS intent, suggest to NY. Communication with NY partners to align and follow up the updates costing. Ensure meet the target. Validation the cost sheet to ensure SP order correct materials for mass production and alert in advance if any.
