I currently oversee the hardware and software development teams as well as a directly manage our project managers. In addition to personnel management, I'm experienced in system architecture design with a proven track record researching and applying new technology. I have 15 years of experience as a software and product development engineer with a demonstrated history working in the mining & metals industries. I am skilled in software development, database design, control systems design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement. My software skills include .NET (C# & VB), Android, Python. I've worked with Embedded C and C++ in FreeRTOS and bare metal environments. In previous roles, I developed and managed large projects for engineering companies including factory acquisition and startup, large drive system replacement (aluminum rolling mill) and development and deployment of data collection and communication systems. I have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Control Systems from Purdue University.
