I administer vaccinations and educate the public ranging from 3 years old and up. I administer Flu, Pneumonia, Tdap, Hep A & B, Meningococcal, Shingles, MMR, & HPV. I also monitor for possible reactions to the vaccines.

Experience with Chemical Exposures to skin and eyes, foreign objects in eyes, basic first aid and safety, administering vaccinations and administering over the counter medications. Responsible for any traumas, nursing assessments, vital signs, and documentation.

Worked in Trauma ICU. Have experience with Neuro, Surgical, Surgical Trauma and Medical patients. Have assisted with Southwest Transplant Team for donor patients and placement of central lines and arterial lines. Responsible for frequent patient evaluations, monitoring and tracking vital signs, maintaining and documenting medical records of patients, contacting the doctor for any changes in patient’s condition. Performing procedures, administering medications, and infusing blood products. Experience in ICP and CVP monitoring, and bladder pressure monitoring.

Assessment of pediatric students. Basic first aid, administer asthma pumps, ADHD MEDS, responsible for hearing and vision and AN screenings and sending referrals home. Keeping up with current immunizations. Responsible for writing care plans of those students that have Diabetes, seizures, food and insect allergies, shunts, any cardiac issues, bleeding disorders etc. Documentation on everything that comes to the clinic, communicate with parents and physicians, educate staff, parents, and school on prevention of spread of germs, diseases, head lice and any other communicable disease. Participate with the MASONIC of Corpus Christi for coat donations and for dental kit donations.
