I have been working as production engineer at Polinas Plastik A.Ş since May 2017. I am responsible all product operations at BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) lines. BOPP is two-way stretch polypropylene film. It is the production of high-molecular polypropylene melt first through the long head made of sheet or thick film, and then in a dedicated stretching machine, at a certain temperature and speed setting, stretching in both directions. My mission is to ensure that all these manufacturing operations run safely, efficiently. Job Definition Leading product development activities in line. Monitoring and making reports production events and trials, Ensuring coordination with relevant departments (Workplace Safety & Health, R&D, Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance etc.) Directing production according quality control datas and spects. Making technical upgrades, capacitive developments for increasing productivity. Preparing Risk Assesment for each line with Workplace Safety & Health Department. Making happend accident,near miss investigations, analyzes and actions. Participating internal and external production department audits in all 3 Polinas locations. Make annual budget plan and reporting monthly/daily Waste and scrap organization/developments To follow up metallization and cover process of the BOPP product.
