Senior Lecturer @ Singapore Polytechnic

About

Engineering professional with a strong foundation in aviation, defence, and education. I am currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Lead (Academic Services) at Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, where I coordinate aviation modules, teach across multiple engineering disciplines, and lead academic services within the Engineering Cluster. I also play a key role in outreach—planning school engagement programmes and serving as an overall coordinator for engineering open houses—while supporting student leadership, development, and engagement beyond the classroom. Prior to academia, I worked as a Project Engineer at the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), specialising in the acquisition, integration, and upgrading of aircraft and mission systems. I managed end-to-end engineering projects and collaborated closely with local and overseas partners to deliver safe, effective, and future-ready capabilities. My professional foundation was built in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) as an Engine Specialist on the Makila engine for the Super Puma helicopter, where I held key leadership roles as I-level Shift In-Charge and Tools & Publications IC. Across these roles, I bring strong technical depth, systems thinking, and people leadership—bridging industry practice with education while driving complex engineering initiatives and developing future-ready talent.
