Key Responsibilities: • Meeting compliance with HSE Manual and local regulations. • Directing safety programs and procedures to protect employees against harm, and maintain safe working conditions. • Formulating and suggesting work safety standards, and enforcing procedures. • Preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Task Safety Analysis. • Conducting Training Needs Analysis, suggesting, and conducting safety trainings. • Advising management on problem correction. • Conducting periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities. • Coordinating follow-up of closing out the items of Site Inspections. • Participating in plan meetings with client and consultant on weekly and occasional bases. • Conducting incident/accident investigations. • Conducting investigations into employee inquiries, suggestions and complaints. • Establishing and monitoring a program for reporting and investigating “near-miss” situations. • Supervision of the subcontractors’ safety personnel. • Ensuring periodic inspections of all motorized vehicles. • Maintaining required HSE documents/files.
